My new Kelty Shelter

I purchased this shelter for my car camping adventures, to give me an extra space for; changing clothes, portable potty, a place to set up my table and kitchen during rainy weather, and if the camp becomes too buggy for enjoyment.

I have shyed away from backcountry car camping in the past due to not having a good shelter for inclement weather, and just extra enclosed space for whatever.

Now, I feel more comfortable planning and doing some car camping in more remote locations. And, when I start taking my granddaughtes camping, we will have an enclosed space to hang out if needed, and more storage space for longer camps.

A camper just isn't in our budget, so we improvise, be creative and get out there!

I am confident that this will go up easier each time I do it, but for the first time, I was pleased with how easy it was for me.

Now to pick a location and go!
